Diplomat Biotype

Picture
The Diplomat biotype is a mix of Endomoph and Ectomorph body types. If they are closer to Guardians on the wheel they tend to have thick, strong bodies that hold onto fat. If they are closer to Sensors they tend to be taller and leaner, but with physical softness to them. Diplomats are reliable and steady, enjoying a predictable, patterned routine.

Diplomats have a longer digestive system so they are suited to large meals (ideally in the middle of the day) and intermittent fasting. Like Guardians, Diplomats respond well to a lower-carb regime. Diplomats are serotonin driven so they look for comfort and pleasure. This can make them prone to emotional eating. As night owls they are particularly vulnerable to the temptation of night snacking.

Diplomats respond well to heavy resistance work and low intensity cardio. They enjoy their comfort zone so are great candidates for a gentle push from a Personal Trainer. Guardians and Diplomats may both find that they have more success adhering to a regime that does not involve early mornings.

Diplomats sit at the bottom right of the circle. Check out the other biotypes around the wheel - Sensors, Crusaders, Activators, Connectors and Guardians.
