Kombucha

Picture
Kombucha is a tasty gut health-promoting beverage. It's a centuries-old drink that begins as sweetened tea and is then combined with a SCOBY (Symbiotic Colony Of Bacteria & Yeast) and left to ferment.

A few years ago kombucha was a bit of a fringe product with a sharp tang but now it comes in more tasty flavours than soft drinks.  As the technologies have improved and demand has increased the price has come right down.

The Remedy brand is the lowest in sugar. They brew it all out which means no further risk of fermentation. This explains why it's the only product that doesn't require refrigerating (although it's tastier if you do).

Pop a couple in the fridge, pack the pantry with the remainder and enjoy a daily dose of super-charged nutrients.
